The Oratorium
The Oratorium was a 'simultaneous' reading, performed on the half-hour. Nine artists read texts aloud , either written or found, into microphones for audiences visiting the Perform Now! event in Chinatown, Los Angeles. The experimental polyphonic event was described as "loud, comic, and melancholy."
